An interesting thought…
I wrote in another post that today's children with Autism are going to be more advanced than our young adults that have Autism.
We parents worry like heck about what's going to happen to our young adults, usually if they aren't self-reliant, when we've left this earth.
Maybe as the younger children advance through school might it not be cool if they were taught how to work with older people (such as young adults) that have Autism so that we'd know that our young adults/adults will be taken care of!
Who knows, with the advances they're making in the various treatments and whatnot, today's children with Autism could very well be tomorrow's caretakers for our own 'kids'.
